Our dedicated Financial Capability team (FINCAP) aims to reduce poverty and hardship by improving people’s financial skills – especially among more vulnerable members of the community.

It is widely recognised that financial problems often stem from poor money management skills, resulting in poor financial decision making; FINCAP aims to get to the root cause of the problem.

CA Cornwall leads the Financial Capability Forum (FINCAP) project for Cornwall, working with partner organisations, such as other financial charities, local authorities and banks, to share information and good practice and supporting local people with problems as well as the frontline workers helping them. They take place quarterly and are generally held in Truro.

If you would like to learn more about FINCAP or if your organisation would like to take part in our forums, please contact fincap@citizensadvicecornwall.org.uk

We can also provide bespoke money and budgeting training for clients and schools. Please contact training@citizensadvicecornwall.org.uk to find out more
