We have a dedicated, trained Domestic Abuse Specialist Adviser to provide targeted and sensitive advice and wraparound support to those living with or escaping domestic and sexual abuse.
In addition to the provision of advice, our adviser also trains our General Advice Service to recognise signs of domestic, sexual and financial abuse and in sensitively offering further support.
Citizens Advice is a trusted advice service and independent body. People are more inclined to come to us, and other nongovernmental bodies, than the police.
